BOERNE, Texas—Landowners who have an agricultural tax valuation on their property and are interested in managing their land for wildlife are invited to attend a three-part seminar in January to prepare a management plan and application for a wildlife management tax valuation from the State of Texas, sponsored by the Cibolo Nature Center & Farm.

Geared to those owning more than 20 acres, this in-depth seminar emphasizes wildlife management strategies that improve native habitat and increase species diversity. Presenter Rufus Stephens, wildlife biologist with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, will help attendees gain land-management knowledge, understand the history of this Texas law and fulfill application requirements.
