San Marcos – Water Quality Training

A Texas Watershed Steward workshop on water quality related to the Upper San Marcos River will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sept. 17 at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins St. in San Marcos.

Those interested are also invited to attend a stakeholder meeting at the same location that morning from 9-10 a.m.

The workshop is presented by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board in cooperation with The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University.

The training is free and open to anyone interested in improving water quality in the region. Light refreshments will be provided. Participants are encouraged to preregister at the Texas Watershed Steward website at https://tws.tamu.edu.
