Hill Country Neighbors,
It’s easy to see why the Hill Country is one of the fastest growing regions in the Lone Star state. With the combination of friendly neighbors, family values and idyllic scenery – it provides a wonderful place to raise a family. And, raising kids in an environment where they can appreciate nature is also a privilege enjoyed by many who live here.
Speaking of future generations, my husband Cody and I are excited to share some very special news with our Hill Country Alliance family: we welcomed Callie Marie Schank into our family on Tuesday, July 24. We are thrilled to start this new chapter in our lives and cannot wait to begin creating wonderful memories together as a family here in the Texas Hill Country.
As I take time to dive into motherhood, HCAs work will continue under the direction of Cliff Kaplan, our night skies and community program manager. Cliff will be serving as acting executive director until my return from maternity leave. More about Cliff in our Team Member Spotlight in the right column!
As always, your support is what makes our work possible. Would you consider a mid-year donation to HCA to help advance our mission to care for the unique features, spring-fed streams, heritage ranch lands, spectacular beauty and culture of the Texas Hill Country for the benefit of future generations?
We hope you enjoy the remaining days of summer and would love to see  you at one of these upcoming events!
