Blanco – Understanding Our Water

August 19, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The Blanco River is vital to the Texas Hill Country. It supports an array of diverse wildlife and offers opportunities for recreation. It recharges aquifers, providing drinking water to thousands of Texans, and bolsters the economic well-being for the City of Blanco and neighboring communities.

Join Dr. Robert E. Mace, groundwater expert and Executive Director of the Meadows Center, on August 19 from 5:30-7:30 PM to explore the connection between the Blanco River and the Trinity and Edwards aquifers. This event is free and open to the public.
