Online – 51st Annual LBJ Tree Lighting

Join us online for our favorite holiday tradition!
Join us on Facebook and Instagram for this special Tree Lighting ceremony that has been a local tradition since President and Mrs. Johnson started it 51 years ago. While no in-person activities will be held this year, you can still visit park headquarters and the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm to see the beautiful decorations that will be up the week before Christmas. Visit the gift shop for unique holiday items that will complete anyone’s last minute shopping needs. Park buildings will be open regular hours (gift shop 8:30am-4pm and Sauer-Beckmann farm 10am-4pm).
