Managing Groundwater in Travis County: How, Why and Where?

The Meadows Center is partnering with the Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center to host a moderated panel discussion with experts to provide insight on the newly constructed Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District.

Discussions will focus on efforts to preserve groundwater as well as water-related issues facing residents in Travis County. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet candidates running for positions on the Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District Board of Directors.

The event is an excellent opportunity for residents to hear from the officials who will govern the Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District and gain valuable information on what they can do to help water conservation efforts in Travis County.

Following the panel discussion, all are invited to attend the reception where there will be refreshments and snack foods. Learn more
