Event Details

Patty Leslie Pasztor will present the meeting program on the subject of Ethnobotany, the human uses of native plants for food, medicine, and fibers, as well as the beneficial uses of native plants for birds, butterflies and other wildlife.

Patsy is the former Horticulturalist for the Native Plants Area at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens and the Park Naturalist at the Friedrich Wilderness Park. She is the coauthor of “Texas Trees – A Friendly Guide” with Paul Cox.

The meeting will be at 1:30 p.m.on Tuesday, April 11, at the Riverside Nature Center, 150 Francisco Lemos St.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Visitors are welcome!
